O.k, not literally....I haven't been fishing in decades.....not that I have anything against fishing, mind you.
Especially in a case like this.....
What? I'm talking about the fish.... ahem
Or, in a case like this, I'm not too thrilled....
Anyway....
I've just been seeing this on a few other blogs and, with the A to Z Blogging Challenge coming up Monday, thought it was a good idea.
I'm going to be taking a small blogging break until April 1st to gear up and get ready for A to Z. I'll still be visiting/commenting on others blogs, I just won't be posting anything else until Monday.
In that time, I'll have to decide whether I'll split my posts between this blog and my other blog (with directions there on the 'off days' here) or just keep all my entries here and put my other site on a month long hiatus. I already blog six days a week, so A to Z shouldn't be that much of a departure for me, blog-wise, except on where I'll be posting.
Getting ready for A to Z?
Should I keep all my posts here or split them up, keeping my other blog on 'schedule' and, possibly, directing some traffic there as well?
Hmmmm.....decisions, decisions...
See you on April 1st!

See you April 1 as well.
As I can barely handle one blog I don't have any suggestions for you but I'll see you next week.
I'd keep all of your posts on one blog. People who are clicking through the list and hit here on an off day are less likely to click one more time to your other blog.
Enjoy your break & good luck with AtoZ!
(Fwiw - I second Alex's comment. I'd keep it all here. ;)
I can't imagine trying to run two blogs - I'm a co-author on one and even that can be hard - and nevermind trying to do it during a-z. I am almost ready :)
Fishing...ah, the sea. I need a vacation so badly! Anyway, I vote for sticking to one blog. It would be easier for your followers (me at least :D)
I didn't know you had another blog. When the A to Z is over you should link something to that blog so that your new followers from A to Z know about it:)
Still haven't got all my posts written for the A-Z, but it'll all get done!
@Sheena: Rest up! :)
@S.P: LOL...no worries, I'll see you in April :)
@Alex: Good point and I guess time is at a premium.
@Melissa: Thank you and I'll probably wind up doing that :)
@mshatch: Well, it's not all that organized and is just for random stuff..but it keeps me on a schedule of writing everyday.
@Al: Yes, I know the feeling! :)
@Robin: I've had it for a while and only kept it because I can't port all the content over here easily enough. I have a link up top (The Phantom M-Pire), but good idea...if I get more followers, I might put a little blurb out there...thanks :)
@Joy: I have no doubt that you will :)
Have a nice break. I'm all ready for the Challenge! Can't wait. :)
Enjoy your break! Monday is just around the corner and it's going to be one hell of a ride. :D
Ohhhh... you are so much braver than I! Gah. Good luck with the A-Z... it looks so epic...
@Christine: I plan to and I'm as ready as I'm going to get...I think :)
@Elise: Thanks and I totally agree...better buckle up!
@Morgan: I know what you mean and hope I'm not underestimating the scope of it all. We'll soon, see :)
yep! been busy!
on your mark! ha ha!
get set, go!
One blog. The A-Z is enough of a challenge without adding a second blog to the mix.
You should probably keep them in one place. I'm not participating but I can't wait to read everyone's posts.
Have wonderful break!
Greetings human Mark,
Ah yes, decisions, decisions. Tough to find the right balance. Of course, my only decision is how much I satirise the alphabet challenge this year. And speaking of fishing...Just for the halibut, I have this for you to read to totally make you feel nets...I wonder if a prawn has 'coral sex'? Do they do it 'atoll'? I wrote this just for the 'krill' of it. I think I need 'kelp'. I know this was 'all at sea'. Yet somehow, it 'warmed the cockles of my heart'. No more fish puns because I'm beginning to 'flounder'. Right, that's enough, I'll 'clam' up now.
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! :)
@Tara: You're cracking me up, over here :P
@LD: Good point and it's looking like that's how it's is going to go.
@Mel: Yeah, I'll probably keep them all here and link to my Wordpress blog, just to keep my self imposed schedule.
@Gary: Penny, tell Gary that he's lucky he didn't post that punny comment or he might have gotten a virtual kick in the 'bass'...ahem :) (lol, great comment Gary...you had me cracking up :) )
I'd have to say keep it here. People are trying to move through pretty quickly, which is also why short posts are best. If they have to click to elsewhere, they likely won't.
Good luck to you!
Shannon at The Warrior Muse
Yes, keep it at one blog.
Posts are scheduled. I'm ready.
This is one of the better "gone fishing" posts I've seen. I agree that keeping it on one blog is the way to go. I've finished up to E and hope to blaze through the rest over the weekend...yeah...hope being the key word there.
@Shannon: Thank you and same to you! :)
@Diane: Sounds like you're top of things, excellent :) That seems to be the general consensus, so I'll be keeping them all here.
@Shell: I'm sure you'll be well prepared, no worries :)
